2023年4月28日にCooking VinylからリリースされるThe Orbの18枚目のアルバム『Prism』は、Alex PatersonとMichael Rendallのデュオによる3作目となる。

このアルバムでは、アンビエント、ハウス、ダブはもちろん、詩、ポップ、本格的なドラムンベース、ゲエまで、幅広いジャンルが自由自在に操られている。また、David Harrow(Anne Clarke、Psychic TV、Razormaid、Adrian Sherwood、Andy Weatherall)とGaudi(Max Romeo、Capleton、Johnny Clarke、Desmond Dekker)をフィーチャー。

その他、The Orbの常連であるYouth、ヴァイオリニストのVioleta Vicci、KompaktレコードのOBであるLeonardo Fresco、MetamonoのJono Podmore、ギタリストでAlexの昔からの親友であるDavid Lofts、ヴォーカリストのEric Von Skywalker、Andy Cain、Rachel D'arcy等がゲストとして参加している。
